Chairman Tegletija Talks Today with UAE Ambassador Al Shamsi

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Non-Resident Ambassador of the Unites Arab Emirates (UAE) for BH, with the seat in Podgorica. Nabil Abdulaziz Said Al Shamsi. 

They discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, especially, in economy, tourism and investments.

Chairman Tegeltija said that the cooperation of the two countries is good and without outstanding issues, and expressed expectations that the up-coming period of time will see a concretisation of cooperation on both economic and investment fields. He stressed that the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina is to boost cooperation in the areas of tourism, transport and infrastructure, including energy, food industry and non-special purpose industry.

Chairman Tegletija briefed Ambassador All Shamsi on the ongoing reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European integrations process, underlining BIH commitment to fulfilment of conditions for a continuous progress towards a full membership in the EU.

The meeting discussed the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the “Expo 2020” Fair in Dubai, as a good chance for presentation of BIH and its potentials at the Near East market.

Charmian Tegeltija thanked to the UAE Government for its support to BIH during the pandemics, and wished Ambassador Al Shama successful work. (end)
