Chairman Tegletija Congratulates International Media Freedom Day

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija sent a congratulations note to journalists, editorial staff and jounralists’ associations in BIH, and other employees with the Public Information Services, on the occasion of May 3rd - the International Media Freedom Day. 

“The media freedom, as well as the freedom of speech and expression, are the basics of any democratic society. Any society is capable of making a progress only it if disposes of an accurate, checked and timely information. The importance of an objective informing is of the key relevance for citizens and for relations within the respective state.

To editors, journalists, photographers and other employees with media in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I wish, on behalf of the Council of Ministers of BIH, and my own, happy May 3 – Media Freedom Day”, reads the congratulations note by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH. (end)
