Chairman Tegeltija with World Bank Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with representatives of the World Bank, Strategy and Operations Director for Europe and Central Asia Xiaoqing Yu, Regional Director for Western Balkans Linda Von Gelder, and Head of the World Bank Office in BIH Christopher Galbert Sheldon. 

The meeting discussed the current economic developments and continuation of cooperation on projects realisation of WB-supported projects.

Chairman Tegeltija said he is satisfied for the World Bank support to BIH during the corona virus pandemics, as well as for continuation of cooperation on projects aiming support to economic recovery.

The meeting exchanged views on priorities to be a part of a new four-year Framework Partnership between BIH and the World Bank.

In that regard, they jointly pointed at a need to continue realisation of activities on implementation of on-going projects, as well as a to have continued discussion on strategic support in the areas tarketing relevant improvements, such as infrastructure, heath, and management of public resources and natural environment management.
