Chairman Tegeltija with Turkish Ambassador in BIH

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija received today in Sarajevo Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BIH Haldun Koç in a farewell visit. 

They concluded that the relations between BIH and Trukey are good and friendly, and that there is a mutual interest for a continuous development of cooperation in all areas.

Chairman Tegeltija stressed that BIH has most of concluded and ratified contracts with the Republic of Turkey. He pointed at the importance of activities of Turkey at financing the Belgrade – Sarajevo motorway. He assessed that there is a space for further promotion of cooperation, primarily in the areas of agriculture, traffic and infrastructure. Chairman Tegeltija pointed at possibilities for investing into the sectors of infrastructure, agriculture, energy, tourism, as well as education, health care and food industry.

The also discussed the up-coming visit of Chairman and Serb member of the BIH Presidency Milorad Dodik to the Republic of Turkey in mid-March, on which occasion several agreements will be signed between the two countries.

Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Ambassador Koç for his diplomatic engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and his personal contribution to strengthening of relations of the two counties’ mutual relations, wishing him success in the continuation of his diplomatic carrier.
