Chairman Tegeltija with Secretary for Relations with States of Holy See Mons Gallagher

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Secretary for Relations with States with the State Secretariat of the Holy See, Mons Paul Richard Gallagher. 

The meeting discussed bilateral relations of BIH and the Holy See, European integrations, and regional cooperation, and Chairman Tegeltija stressed that BIH and the Holy See share views on universal matters of peace, security, and human rights protection, as well as on the improvement of diplomatic relations between BIH and the Holy See.

Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Mons. Gallagher and Holy See for their support to the European path of BIH, and pointed at a need for a better understanding and mutual internal dialogue as a basic precondition for overcoming the current issues in operation of the BIH joint institutions.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the topical issues in the region and world, and hopeful that conflicts between Russia and Ukraine would cease soon and further argumentation will be led exclusively through diplomatic means, for the sake of normalisation of overall political and economic situation in the region, Europe and the world.
