Chairman Tegeltija with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia

The meeting discussed the current political and economic developments and possibilities for improvement of BIH-Slovakia cooperation in the area of shared interest.
Chairman Tegeltija stressed that there is no outstanding issues between Slovakia and BIH, and that the bilateral relations are good, which is a basis for further strengthening of the cooperation, economic one, primarily. He emphasised a need for more intensified joint activities on promotion of investment potential of BIH by way of organisation of various forms of business meetings with Slovakian businessmen. On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija singled out a possibility for investments to energy sector in BIH, as well as in infrastructure, adding that there is a considerable space for improvement of cooperation in chemical and metal industry, as well as in agriculture, healthy food production, and tourism.
They discussed the vaccination process and economic aftermath of Covid-29 pandemics.
Minister Korčok commended the authorities for their efforts in fulfilment of 14 priorities from the European Commission Opinion, and expressed the support of Slovakia in European integrations of BIH.
Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Slovakia for its assistance provided to date and for a continuous support to the European path of BIH.
