Chairman Tegeltija with KFOR Commander Major-General Platzer

Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija received today in an introductory visit Commander of the European Union Force/EUFOR/ in BIH Major-General Alexandar Platzer, with whom he discussed security and health challenges in BIH in the context of epidemiologic situation caused by corona virus. 

Chairman Tegletija stressed that BIH carries unjustifiably too high burden of migrant crisis relative to the number of its population, underlining that the epidemiologic situation caused by corona virus added to the existing problems.

The meeting discussed other topical issues, and Chairman Tegeltija made mention of the commitment of the Council of Ministers to make an active contribution, in accordance with its competences, to preserving stability though strengthening of economic areas to be end of improvement of living standard of all citizens of BIH, stressing in that regard, the importance of good cooperation with EUFOR and all other international institutions and organisations in BIH.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers welcomed the EUFOR Commander wished him a successful professional engagement, hoping that the cooperation between BIH Institutions and EUFOR would be additionally improved. (end)
