Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Head of the International Monetary Fund Mission Alina Iancu. 

They discussed the current economic and political issues in the light of global economic crisis and activities to overcome consequences of the recent pandemics.

Chairman Tegletija thanked to IMF for cooperation and support to Bosnia and Herzegovina realised to date, and stressed the important role of this international financial institution in implementation of structural reforms in our country, noting his expectation that good cooperation between BIH and IMF would continue in the future.

Chairman Tegeltija said BIH is currently in a post-election period of time, with dynamic political movements for formation of new government at all levels, and he expressed his expectations for the process to be finalised by the end of the year, so that the launched reform processes might continue.

The meeting was attended by IMF Resident Representative in BIH Andrew Jewell. (end)
