Chairman Tegeltija with Commissioner Hahn in Munich

The meeting discussed economic and political situation in BIH and the region, and Chairman Tegeltija said that despite the current slowdown of the European integrations-related activities due to political turmoil caused by a law imposition by departing High Representative, BIH Institutions are committed to the European road, with a full respect of constitutional competences of all-level authorities, and with compliance to the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Chairman Tegeltija said the Western Balkans Economic and Investment Plan (EIP) represents an excellent instrument for achieving concrete, tangible results and benefits to all citizens of the region, and expressed his readiness for partnering towards creating a more favourable economic and social ambience.
Chairman Tegeltija said on this occasion that since his assuming the mandate of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH, despite of coronavirus caused pandemics, a breakthrough has been made in BIH on numerous items in the context of the European integrations, which have been in stagnation for several years, hopeful that relevant achievements would be recognised.
Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Commissioner Hahn for support the EU has been providing to BIH, especially in view of the fight against corona virus pandemics. (end)
