Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked today in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in BIH Zorica Bukinac on the topical political and economic issues in BIH and the region. 

The meeting discussed possibilities of promotion of economic cooperation, and a joint conclusion was that intensification of cooperation in the areas of shared interest should remain focal point of BIH – Slovenia relations.

Speaking of the European road, Chairman Tegeltija pointed at the commitment of the Council of Ministers to the continuation of European integrations, with a full compliance to the Dayton Agreement, and expressing his gratitude for the fact that Slovenia supports enlargement of EU to the Western Balkans, which he sees as pivotal for the long-lasting peace and stability in the region.

The meeting exchanged on other current topics, with a special accent to the migrant crisis and corona virus outbreak.

Chairman Tegeltija informed Ambassador Bukinac that all responsible institutions have taken a serious approach to the issue and that relevant health institutions cooperate and implement continuously all precaution measures.
