Chairman Tegeltija with Ambassador of Japan Ito

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija received today in an introductory visit Ambassador of Japan in BIH Makoto Ito. 

Chairman Tegeltija welcomed Ambassador Ito and wished him a successful diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that the relations between BIH and Japan are good and friendly, and that their cooperation has potential for an improvement in all areas. He stressed the interest of BIH for deepening of cooperation in the areas of economy, technology, environmental protection, tourism, culture and education.

Chairman Tegletija expressed his belief that Japan would organise successfully the Summer Olympic Games this year, which were postponed last year due to Covid-19 pandemics. He thanked for the assistance and technical support Japan has been continuously providing to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations, congratulation notes were exchanged.
