Chairman Tegeltija with Ambassador of Egypt

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija received today in an introductory visit ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Egypt in BIH Yasser Abdelrahman Ali Sorour. 

It was stressed that the relations between the two friendly countries are good and without outstanding issues. They exchanged experiences in containing Covid-19 pandemics and vaccine procurement processes.

The meeting discussed the issue of illegal migrations and security. Referring to that, Chairman Tegeltija said that a positive breakthrough for continuation of cooperation in all areas would be as early as possible signing of readmission agreements. He added that BIH is one of the countries especially hit by the migrant crisis, staring form the fourth quarter of 2017, and that it bears unjustifiably the burden of global migrant crisis.

Chairman Tegeltija expressed the interest of BIH for continuing cooperation in tourism, as an important economic area for both countries, which is currently in stagnation due to Covid-19 pandemics, but where a considerable improvement is possible to make.
