Chairman Tegeltija with Ambassador of Austria in BIH Hartman

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Zoran Tegeltija received in Sarajevo in an introductory visit Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in BIH Urlike Hartman. 

The meeting discussed the previous cooperation between BIH and Austria and possibilities of its enhancement, while a special emphasis was on the BIH integrations to the EU.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija thanked for support and grants of the Austrian Government to BIH citizens, extended through the years, as well as for support to economic processes and European integrations. He said he is hopeful that the in the period to come Austria will continue its efforts towards securing tangibility of EU enlargement to the South European countries, within a new EU enlargement methodology.

At the meeting, Chairman Tegeltija stressed that the cooperation between  BIH and Austria is developed across different areas, and pointed his readiness to use these good relations for realisation of concrete projects so that the future economic cooperation would be lifted to a  higher level.

A joint assessment was that the relations between BH and Austria are those of friendship and  they are good, and that there is a lot of space for deepening of partnership relations and promotion of economic cooperation of the two countries. They exchanged opinions on the current political issues in BIH and the region.
