Chairman Tegeltija Talks with World Bank Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked with representatives of the World Bank within a regular spring meetings, via video-link, on the current economic crisis in BIH in the context of solution-finding for battling the corona virus pandemics-driven crisis, as well as on possibilities for a financial assistance for implementation of projects relevant for living standard of citizens. 

Chairman Tegletija pointed at a need for speeded action on realisation of projects and implementation of activities aiming jobs restoring, along with the improvement of economic and business environment.

The meeting discussed the key areas and reforms to be implemented in BIH within a new 2022-2026 Partnership Framework with World Bank, with a special attention turned to the projects aiming health system reform, state-owned enterprises reform and the green transition, which includes a special air quality programme.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegletija thanked to the World Bank representatives for the assistance provided to-date for overcoming consequences caused by corona virus, as well as for support in implementation of infrastructure and other projects in BIH, and expressed his hope that the good cooperation to-date would be continued in future.
