Chairman Tegeltija Talks with World Bank Regional Director Van Gelder

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija met in Sarajevo with Regional Director of the World Bank for Western Balkans, Europe and Central Asia Linda van Gelder. 

 

The meeting discussed the realisation of the activities do-date and launching new ones, on which occasion Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Regional Director van Gelder for a continuous support and assistance this financial organisation extends to BIH.

Chairman Tegeltija briefed the Regional Director on activities the Council of Ministers takes for the purpose of overcoming challenges caused by coronavirus pandemics, and stressed that boosting of economy and creation of economy-conducive foreign and domestic investment ambience is a common interest of all in BIH.

Chairman Tegeltija mentioned the dedication of BIH institutions to continue working, in accordance with their respective responsibilities, on reform measures implementation for the aim of lifting the living standard with BIH citizens.

A need for continuation of cooperation on further improvement of BIH economy competitiveness, including the implementation of strategic projects, was jointly noted.

The meeting concluded that, as in previous period of time, a close cooperation will continue, and the World Bank will remain the major partner to BIH in the reform implementation. (end)
