Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked today in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the United States of America in BIH Eric Nelson. 

Chairman Tegletija and Ambassador Nelson discussed the current economic and political developments in BIH and the region and possibilities for advancement of cooperation between the two countries.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija briefed Ambassador Nelson of the priorities of the newly formed Council of Ministers, namely the continuation of economic-social reforms implementation, aiming the improvement of business and general economic ambience and consequently the living standards of the citizens, and continuation of the European integrations with a full compliance to the Dayton Agreement and Constitutional competences of all-level authorities in BIH.

The shared their respective positions on necessity of the adoption of the 2020 BIH Institutions Budget by the end of the first quarter of this year,

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers emphasised that the Budget will provide for smooth functioning of all budget user institutions.

The interlocutors agreed in the assessment that the cooperation to date between the two countries was good, and expressed their expectations that it would be continued in the same fashion in the period to come.
