Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with UN Resident Coordinator for BIH Ingrid McDonald on future cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with United Nations. 


Chairman Tegletija said he appreciates highly expert and analytical assistance and support by UN agencies in reform processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina remains committed to boosting human rights, democracy, environmental protection, position of youth, economic development, and increased quality of life of BIH citizens through fulfilment of Sustainable Development Goals, as defined together with United Nations.

They discussed setting up a Joint Managing Board between Un and BIH for implementation of “2021-2025 Framework Cooperation for Sustainable Development between UN and BIH”.

The meeting also exchanged views on a Regional UN Programme for strengthening role of  youth in promotion of mutual confidence, understanding and constructive dialogue in light of harmonisation with the new UN Framework Cooperation  for sustainable development in BIH and support to young people in BIH and the region.
