Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Newly-Appointed Executive Director of IMF

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked today, via video-link, with newly-appointed Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund Paul Hilbers on the previous and future cooperation, including a new arrangement with this financial institution. 

Chairman Tegeltija briefed Executive Director Hilbers on commitment of all-level authorities for the continuation of reform measures, with an aim of preserving jobs, improvement of economic and business-making ambience, and attraction of both foreign and domestic investments.

Chairman Tegeltija stressed a need for a joint and coordinated action in overcoming post-pandemic challenges, affecting most the health and real sector, and pointed at the importance of continued cooperation with this institution through realisation of the new arrangement which would be very supportive in overcoming the economic and social crises caused by the corona virus pandemics.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH Vjekolsav Bevanda and Governor of the Central Bank of BIH Senad Softić.
