Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Minister in London

Chairman Tegeltija pointed at BIH institutions determination for European integrations with a full respect of the Dayton Peace Agreement and consistent respect of constitutional competences of all-level authorities. Chairman Tegeltija noted a need for economic connecting, improvement of relations and staring a new investment cycle in the region, pointing at the importance of the Western Balkans Economic and Investment Plan.
Chairman Tegeltija briefed Minister Cleverly of the current political and economic developments in BIH, and said that internal agreement by political representatives is required in order to overcome the current situation caused by a law imposition by the former High Representative in BIH, adding that this is the sole approach to yield long term peace and stability, as preconditions for further growth and progress of BIH and the region.
In expressing his gratitude to the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Norther Ireland, Chairman Tegeltija assessed political relations between BIH and Untied Kingdom as good and friendly, however not followed by equally good economic cooperation, pointing at the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina for further strengthening of economic relations.
