Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Minister Dendias

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo, during a working lunch, with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. 

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija briefed Minister Dendias of the current political and economic developments in BIH, saying he is pleased with an intensification of high-level meetings and contacts between the two countries over the past period of time.

They jointly concluded that the bilateral relations between the Hellenic Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina are good, without open issues, and pointed at a possibility of an enhanced cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as energy, transport infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, wood industry, mechanical industry, electro industry, and civil engineering. Chairman Tegeltija pointed his expectations for a continuation of business fora and meeting of the two countries’ entrepreneurs, at least at annual level.

Speaking of the European integrations process, Chairman Tegeltija underlined a commitment of BIH Institutions to the European path, with a full respect of the Dayton Peace Agreement and responsibilities of all-level authorities.

Chairman Tegletija stressed his appreciation of the position of Greece that the European perspective of the Western Balkans should be a priority for the European Union, as well, noting the efforts of Greece to emphasise the importance and value of EU enlargement by the Western Balkan countries.

They exchanged views on other topical issues, and Chairman Tegeltija thanked to the Greek Government for its assistance and understanding of BIH internal relations.(end)
