Chairman Tegeltija Talks with French Ambassador in BIH

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the French Republic in BIH Christine Toudic on the European road of BIH and reforms implemented during the accession process. 

Chairman Tegeltija briefed Ambassador Toudic of the current situation in BIH, assessing that Bosnia and Herzegovina deserves the candidate status, expressing his expectation for France to understand the situation and support BIH during its current six-month Presidency over the European Union.

The meeting also discussed bilateral relations, assessed as very good in political segment and without outstanding issues, with particularly good cooperation in the areas of culture and sports.

Chairman Tegeltija emphasised that there is a considerable space for improvement of economic relations, noting an interest with BIH companies to make business with French companies. He added that a draft platform for negotiations will be considered in the period to come on an agreement between the Council of Ministers of BIH and French Government on setting-up and activities of a French Development Agency in BIH.
