Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Delegation of UK Parliament International Development Committee

The meeting discussed current political and economic developments in BIH, as well as the United Kingdom role in supporting reform processes.
Chairman Tegeltija pointed at a need for mutual dialogue and agreement by political representatives, and a higher level of confidence, as the main precondition for dealing with current issues in work of joint institutions of BIH, stressing that decision imposed to detriment of only one ethnic group cannot function towards faster reconciliation, cohesion, partnership and understanding in society and among constitutive people.
Chairman Tegeltija noted the European integrations committment of the Council of Ministers, with a full consideration of constitutional responsibilities of all-level authorities and respect of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
The Delegation of the UK International Development Committee was comprised of Tom Tugenhat, Liam Byrne, Alicia Kearus, Bob Seely, Henry Smith, Royston Smith, Graham Stringer, and UK Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in BIH Matthew Field. (end)
