Chairman Tegeltija Talks with British Minister Morton

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with British Ministry of Foreign Affairs Minister for European Neighbourhood and America Wendy Morton on possibilities of promotion of bilateral relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Norther Ireland. 

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija stressed that the economic cooperation of the United Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina progresses, and pointed at the importance of  implementation of projects of mutual interest, such as infrastructure and environmental protection, and wood and metal industry, as well as other projects in BIH, using IPA and EBRD funds.

They affirmed their readiness to support fully all initiatives to produce strengthening of bilateral relations in trade and investments, as well as in the area of environmental protection, which poses itself as all the more important subject, not only in the region, but worldwide.

Chairman Tegeltija briefed Minister Morton of priorities of the Council of Ministers, noting the BIH membership in the EU remains the strategic commitment of BIH Institutions, and thanked to the United Kingdom for the support to BIH in tis European integrations process.

They exchanged view on other topical issues in BIH and the region in the context of finding solution to overcome challenges caused by the corona virus pandemics. (end)
