Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Austrian Chancellor Kurtz in Vienna

Chairman Tegletija said Bosnia and Herzegovina nourishes friendly, traditionally very good relations, without outstanding issues with Austria, which rely on very rich common history and intermingled culture. He added that the cooperation is very developed in many areas, from politics, economy, culture and education to defence and security.

At the meeting, Chaiamn Tegletija pointed at BIH interest foto boost cooperation in wood-processing industry,, and ICT.
Chairman Tegletija thanked to Chancellor Kurtz and the Republic of Austria for assistance during Covid-19 pandemics, especially for an engagement in securing 214,000 doses of vaccines for BIH. He also expressed his gratefulness for a continued support to BIH as to the European integrations, hopeful that Austria would continue to support the European road of BIH and remain the advocate of the EU policy of enlargement to the Western Balkans countries.
They touched upon the issues of safety and migrations. Chairman Tegeltija said that the issue of migrants in BIH overcomes BIH capacities, and that, unjustifiably, BIH carries alone too heavy burden of the migrant crisis.
