Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Ambassador of People’s Republic of China

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Ji Ping on the current political and economic developments in BIH and the region, as well as on possibilities for an improvement of cooperation between the two friendly countries. 

Discussed was on-going project implementation with Chinese companies, and the projects in preparation, as well.

Chairman Tegeltija expressed his gratitude for support of the People’s Republic od China to Bosnia and Herzegovina in fight against Covid-19 and for overall support the People’s Republic of China has been extending for the last 20 years

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Ji Ping briefed Chairman Tegeltija of a new Chinese “Initiative on Global Development”, proposed by Chinese President Si Jiping at the recently-held UN General Assembly general debate.

The talks assessed the Initiative-included commitments, which refer to fight against poverty, food safety, fight against pandemics, development finances, climate change etc. are acceptable as they are in the function of development of a better world. (end)
