Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Ambassador of Pakistan in BIH

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija received in Sarajevo in an introductory visit Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Akhtar Jamil Rao. 

Chairman Tegeltija said that the friendly bilateral relations represent solid grounds for strengthening of economic ties between BIH and Pakistan. He stressed that there is a considerable space and mutual interest for improvement of cooperation in sectors such as food industry, and metal, mining industries, car industry, energy and civil construction, including wood processing and textile industries. He added that additional efforts should be made for connecting economies and improving commercial ties.

The meeting also discussed the issue of illegal migrations in BIH. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH pointed at a need for communication of competent authorities of the two countries and implementation of a Readmission Agreement in the shortest time possible.

Chairman Tegeltija expressed his thankfulness to Pakistan for support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and wished Ambassador Rao pleasant stay and successful diplomatic mission in BIH. (end)
