Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Ambassador Nelson

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Ambassador of the United States of America Eric Nelson on current political and economic situation in BIH, with an emphasis at consequences of Corona virus. 

On the occasion, Chairman Tegeltija pointed at the importance of cooperation among all levels of authority in BIH in order to preserve human lives and tackle with health and humanitarian crisis caused by the corona virus pandemics, and eventually to speed-up the country’s economic recovery.

Chairman Tegeltija stressed that the newly created situation in the country has had a considerable effect to dynamics of realisation of previously defined priorities of the Council of Ministers, referring to the continuation of reforms implementation and European way of BIH, emphasising that the Council of Ministers invests enormous efforts for realisation of obligations it assumed.

The interlocutors exchanged their views on current problems as to migrant crisis and human trafficking, and they assessed jointly that BIH cannot solve on its own the problems connected with the migrant crisis, and pointed at a need for a better coordination of all-level authorities in BIH and improved cooperation with the European Union countries.
