Chairman Tegeltija Talks with Advisor to French President

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija stressed that the relations between the two coutries are very good and without outstanding issues, and commended the cultural cooperation of the two countries, expressing his regret for the economic relations do not correspond to economic strength and potentials of each country.
Chairman Tegetija stressed that that there is very important area for improvement of economic relations, and that there is a great interest on the side of companies from BIH for business making with French companies.
Chairman Tegeltija briefed Advisor Dumont of the reform processes and European road of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that the European Union membership is the paramount foreign policy aim of our country, adding that the results made on that way should be properly valued. He noted that lifting up criteria for gaining the EU candidate status wold not make any contribution or assistance to BIH on that road.
Chairman Tegeltija said that BH works hard to fulfil conditions for getting the candidate status, and expressed his expectation for the EU to recognise these efforts and award BIH with the candidate status in the course of year 2021.
