Chairman Tegeltija Talked with MMF Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked via video-link with the International Monetary Fund representatives at the regular Annual Spring Meetings, on activities realised to-date and possibilities for a new Arrangement with IMF. 

Chairman Tegletija emphasised the importance of IMF Arrangement in overcoming the crisis caused by corona virus pandemics, including the realisation of policies matched with the Reform Agenda-set measures.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegletija briefed the IMF representatives on activities implemented by the BIH Institutions, in compliance with their responsibilities, in combating the consequences of the pandemics, stressing that resources of all-level authorities are currently directed to support to the health sector, in order to protect lives and health of population.

In this context, Chairman Tegeltija expressed his expectation for the International Monetary Fund to support more actively the countries faced with enormous health system costs, along with support to their real sector.
