Chairman Tegeltija takes part at Dutch-Belgian Constituency of World Bank and IMF

The meeting was devoted to the current economic na ad financial themes, caused by Covid-19 pandemics, and in that context to the economic development and financial stability of member-countries of the group.
On this occasion Chairman Tegeltija briefed the meeting that all-level authorities in BIH reacted adequately to the virus outbreak and took timely life-protecting and health-preserving measures, which yielded good results, and he emphasised that the health-epidemiologic situation in BIH si under control.
He stressed that all the measures taken by BIH authorities, countries of the region and the EU and most important foreign trade an economic partners, have had a strong effect to BIH economy, which would require a meaningful response. In regard to that, Chairman Tegeltija said, to the restart of economic activities and recover jobs, the support of the Word bank and IMF will be particularly important. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BH said he is hopeful that conditions would be created for eth Constituency to hold its meeting in Sarajevo by the end of June, as schedules, emphasising that the meeting will contribute the additional strengthening and improvement of good cooperation.
