Chairman Tegeltija Receives Plaque on Kostajnica Patron Saint Day

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija visited Kostajnica, where he held a meeting with Municipality of Kostajnica Mayor Nikola Janjetović, discussing the post-earthquake reconstruction 

 

Chairman Tegeltija said it is important to have started reconstruction of housing buildings of citizens of this Municipality after a strong earthquake of last December, and that everyone will help rehabilitation of buildings, including those of public interest in the Municipality. He remained that the Council of Ministers took a decision t pay KM 100,000 to the Municipality for the purposes of rehabilitation after the strong earthquake. He added that projects are underway for certain, primarily, public institutions.

“We are ready to follow efforts at rehabilitation of these facilities”, Chairman Tegletija said in his address to journalists made after the visit to the Municipality of Kostajnica, paid on the occasion of the Municipality Patron Saint Day – Pentecost.

He stressed that the majority of resources were obviously secured for rehabilitation of private buildings, so that people may go back to their houses, thereafter the issue of accommodation of local government, as well as education and cultural institutions, remains to be solved.

“It is important that rehabilitation of housing buildings of citizens of Kostajnica has begun, and the rehabilitation of institutions of public interest to follow will be supported by a joint effort”, Chairman Tegeltija said.

During his visit to Kostajnica, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija was handed over a plague on the occasion of the Kostajnica Patron Saint Day, as a sign of thankfulness for unreserved assistance in rehabilitation from the earthquake effects. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH attended the Holy Liturgy in the Holy Trinity Church in Kostajnica, and laid a wreath to a monument to killed soldiers of the Army of Republika Srpska.
