Chairman Tegeltija Received Ambassador of Slovenia in Farewell Visit

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegletija received today in Sarajevo in a farewell visit Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in BIH Zorica Bukinac. 

Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Ambassador Bukinac for the continuous support of the Republic of Slovenia and assistance to BIH on its European road, stressing the importance of the Slovenian Presidency over the Council of European Union, staring from July 1, 2021, in the light of getting the candidate status for BIH. He assessed as especially important the intensification of the Euroepan enlargement policy for BIH as for the whole region, and welcomed the announced EU-Western Balkans Summit during the Slovenian Presidency.

They exchanged views on topical issues, especially on overcoming the corona virus pandemics, as well as on possibilities to improve the economic cooperation between the two countries in the area of shared interest. In that view, a possibility for facilitation of entry of BIH citizens to Slovenia and Slovenian citizens to BIH was discussed.

On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija thanked to Ambassador Bukinac for her diplomatic engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and her personal contribution to strengthening of the two countries’ relations, wishing her good health and success in her future diplomatic carrier.
