Chairman Tegeltija Meets with Head of Diplomatic Office of the Kingdom of Belgium Asselborn

The meeting discussed the current political and economic developments in BIH, with a focus at activities the all-level government in BIH implements for the aim of economic recovery and removal of adverse consequences of the corona virus pandemics.
Chairman Tegeltija pointed out at dedication of the Council of Ministers and institutions of BIH to the European path, with a full consideration of constitutional competences of all-level authorities and compliance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, and expressed his regret for non-readiness of the European Union to integrate the Western Balkans fully into the European community.
They jointly concluded that the bilateral relations between BIH and Belgium are good and without outstanding issues, underlining that the economic cooperation should be strengthened, linking businessmen of the two countries, as well as promoting possibilities of investment to BIH.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers asked the Head of Diplomatic Office of the Kingdom of Belgium to pass to Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander de Croo and Belgian citizens the expressions of his deep sympathy due to a large number of victims of catastrophic floods that hit the country, and his regret for marking their National Day in such circumstances.
