Chairman Tegeltija in talks with IMF Mission Chief Ijancu

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Zoran Tegeltija talked in Sarajevo with Chief of the International Monetary Fund Mission in BIH Alina Iancu and IMF Resident Representative in BIH Andrew Jewell. 

Chairman Tegeltija vowed his gratitude to the IMF for its support to BIH to-date, especially in efforts in rehabilitation from consequences left by the Corona virus pandemics.

The meeting discussed the economic and fiscal trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expectations for the next year, with a focus to inflatory trends and energy crisis.

Chairman Tegeltija pointed out the importance of cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the IMF, and said BIH is dedicated to concluding an arrangement with the International Monetary Fund, to be based solely on economic reforms, in order to secure better living conditions to citizens in times of global instability.
