Chairman Tegeltija Congratulates International Labour Day
04/30/2020
“On behalf of the Council of Ministers, and my own, I congratulate to al the International Labour Day, marked this year in wake of global pandemics caused by corona virus.
I avail myself of the opportunity to express my gratitude to all, doctors, especially, and health and all other professionals, miners, farmers, and drives, who invest a lot of effort in meeting current priority demands to preserve human lives and ensure that our citizens have all they need. I owe thanks also to citizens helping the society by their responsible behaviour in overcoming the current challenges.
Our further priorities are to restart our economic activities, strengthen domestic companies, keep and recover jobs. Authorities at all levels, in accordance with de defined responsibilities will have to take part in meeting these priority goals. It will be in no way easy; however some of privileges have to remain in the past, whilst solidarity is our present and future.
I urge to all citizens to stick to the protection-aimed measures prescribed by competent bodies in order to return to economic issues as soon as possible and create conditions for every worker to live a dignified life from his work. In realising the aim you will find in the Council of Ministers an honest partner.
I am confident that we will overcome the current crisis, as the whole world will, and with the support of all citizens I really believe that we will be stronger at the same time next year”, reads the May 1 congratulations note by Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegetlija.
