Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija took part at the Berlin Process Summit, in Berlin, upon an invitation by German Chancellor Olaf Shilz. 

Today's Summit discussed regional cooperation and continuation of activities under the Common Regional Market (CRM), migrations in the Western Balkans area and energy security and stability in the world in view the current situation in the region and the world.

In his address, Chairman Tegeltija underlined the importance of the Berlin Process for the region, which incites an open ad constructive dialogue on all topical issues for citizens of the Western Balkans countries. He expressed a full support and determination of the Council of Ministers for continuation of work on the Common Regional Market, noting that it is not an alternative to the EU, but rather a possibility for a faster accession to it. He said that the continuation of economic and political ties of the countries of the region - through which new windows of cooperation should be opened, yielding new benefits to citizens - has not alternative.

Chairman Tegeltija initialled three agreements on free movement of people, namely, the Agreement on Freedom of Movement with ID documents in the Western Balkans; Agreement on Recognition of Professional Qualifications of Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Dental Medicine and Architects in the context of the Central-European Free Trade Agreement; and Agreement on Recognition of High Education Qualifications in the Western Balkans.

Signing of the Agreements, leaders of the Western Balkans will continue to strengthen regional cooperation, relevant for everyday life of almost 18 million people in the region, facilitating their travel and creating conditions for increased mobility of experts, students, scientists and academicians.
