BIH Fiscal Council in Session

The Fiscal Council considered a Proposal 2022-2024 Global Framework of BIH Fiscal Balance and Policies, which envisaged an increase indirect taxes revenue appropriations for benefit of BIH Institutions, and concluded that the proposal would not be reflected on at today’s session, as a unique position of the Fiscal Council on the subject requires additional consultations.
The Fiscal Council unanimously rejected a request from the International Monetary Fund to hold e meeting, regarding a letter of November 12, addressed to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers by IMF BIH Mission Head Aline Iacu.
The session, chaired over by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda, President of Republika Srpska Government Radomir Višković, Prime Minister of the Federation of BIH Fadil Novalić, and Minister of Finance of Republika Srpska Zorn Vidović and of the Federation of BIH Jelka Miličević, Brčko District Mayor Esad Kadrić, and Governor of the Central Bank of BIH Senad Softić.
