Chairwoman Krišto Visit St. Jerome Pontifical Croatian College in Rome

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana visited St. Jerome Pontifical Croatian College, in the course of her visit to Vatican, where she discussed with the College Dean, Monsignor Marko Đurin. 

Dean Đuirin briefed Chairwoman Krišto of the College activities, engaged for over 100 years on education of Croat Catholic clergy. He added that during March 2023, works were finished on reconstruction of frontage, external and internal facades, and terrace of St. Jerome Pontifical Croatian College seat, a building under protection of the City of Rome and State of Italy.

Chairman Krišto visited the College building, decorated by works of renowned Croatian artists Ivan Meštrović, Jozo Kljaković, and she visited St. Jerome church.

Chairwoman expressed her delight and respect for the work of Dean Đurin and the College, which bears an historic relevance and value, as both church and education institution, for the whole Croatian people, especially for Croatian pilgrims to Rome. (end)
