Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija talked in London with President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić on modalities of improvement of BIH – Serbia cooperation.

Assessing the cooperation with Serbia as being at a high level, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers emphasised that the goods exchange surpassed EUR 2 billion, which is the highest level reached so far.

The President of the Government invited Chairman Tegeltija to an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.

Chairman Tegeltija said that the meeting discussed the finalisation of works on the Bratunac Bridge, for which the Council of Ministers took a resolution at its first session; further on they discussed the continuation of construction of the Sarajevo – Belgrade motorway, in addition to touching upon further steps on realisation of earlier agreed-to projects with Republlika Srpska, such as the construction of the Buk-Bijela, Foča and Paunica Hydro Power Plants.

Chairman Tegeltija talked with President of the Government Brnabić on an initiative “Small Schengen”, for which Republika Srpska had already gave its consent, while a relevant reflection is pending from the BIH level.

“Other than this, I used the opportunity to thank to President of the Government Brnabić and President Aleksandar Vučić for the support Serbia extends to local communities both in Republika Srpska and the Federation of BIH, mostly through development of local infrastructure, schools, kinder gardens and health care institutions, which are the basic preconditions for a better life of our citizens”, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Zoran Tegeltija said.

Chairman Tegeltija took part at the Western Balkans Investment Conference in London, organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
