Council of Ministers of BIH Holds Its 33rd Extraordinary Session

The Council of Ministers of BIH took note, at the extraordinary phone session, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers-presented piece of information on holding of the November 10, 2020 Berlin Process Summit in Sofia, within the Berlin Process. 

The piece of information was accompanied by six documents on strengthening of cooperation in the Western Balkans and it gave a new dimension in the region-EU relationship under the

Among documents focusing at the economic development and strengthening of mutual cooperation in the region there are a Declaration on Common Regional Market and accompanying Action Plan for Development of the Common Regional Market 2021-2024, in addition to a Western Balkans Partner Declaration on Green Agenda.

The Summit is to discuss conclusions from earlier held the Berlin Process-related meeting of Ministers of Health of Interior meeting, as well as from a Ministerial Meeting on Roma Integrations.

The endorsement of these documents will bring about numerous benefits to countries of the region, as it would accelerate the fulfilment of commitments related to the EU accession.

All responsible authority levels in BIH should to get included in a full capacity in order to contribute to activities stemming from the Berlin Process.

The Council of Ministers Secretariat-General will, in view of as effective as possible participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Sofia Summit and in coordination with the Office of Chairman, start a procedure for getting agreement from the BIH Presidency for acceptance of the proposed Summit documents, and subsequently, upon the Summit taking place, it will report the event and provide relevant attachments to the BIH Presidency for consideration and adoption thereof
