Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 32th Extraordinary Session

CoM SUPPORTS FOUR TRANSPORT COMMUNITY REGIONAL ACTION PLANS 

The Council of Ministers adopted a piece of information by the Ministry of Communications and Transport on implementation of a Transport Community Founding Treaty.

The session supported regional action plans for roads, railways, traffic safety and transport facilitation, which would be considered at the Transport Community Ministerial Session.

The adoption of these plans is very important, after the European Commission presented 2021-2017 Western Balkans Economic and Investment Plan, worth EUR 9 billion for investment in transport, energy, and green and digital transformations.

The Ministry of Communications and Transport will continue regularly reporting the realisation of obligations taken-up under the Transport Community Founding Treaty.

Under 2017 Treaty, the Transport Community was founded for road, railway, inland waterways and maritime traffic, as well as for development of a transport network between the European Union and Western Balkan countries.
