Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Holds Its 31st Extraordinary, Phone, Session

The Council of Ministers defined a Proposal Finance Agreement for 2021-2027 Cooperation Programme “(Interreg VI-C) URBACT IV” between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Council of Ministers directorate for European Integrations, and Republic of France, represented by the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT), with a Platform for conclusion thereof. 

The Programme is directed to an integral development in cities by way of networking, exchange of experiences and good practices, all for the aim of policy improvement and strengthening of cohesion policy in urban areas.

The total value of the Cooperation Programme is EUR 108,063,537, of which the European Union financial contribution is EUR 84,769.799, while participating countries will finance the remaining of EUR 23,293,783. The Agreement will be implemented by signing several finance agreements.

The Programme covers 27 countries, EU members, and Switzerland and Norway, along with IPA beneficiary countries, namely, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

The implementation coordination of the Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be run by the Council of Ministers Directorate for European Integrations.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury will provide the Proposal Finance Agreement for the Cooperation Programme (Interreg VI-C) UNRBACID VI, with Platform for its conclusion to the BIH Presidency for further legislation procedure, with a proposal for the Director of the Directorate for European Integrations to be the signatory thereof. (end)
