Council of Ministers of BIH Holds Its 80 Extraordinary, Phone, Session

The Migrations and Asylum Strategy, proposed by the Ministry of Security, is aimed to secure development of safe migrations and asylum system in BIH, in line with the European Union standards, and enable active participation in relevant areas in the region.
The Strategy defines seven strategic aims, among which there are: improvement of comprehensive migrations and asylum policies management; improved efficacy of state border control; more effective management of illegal migrations on the BIH territory; improvement of asylum system; effective fight against migrants smuggling and human trafficking; support to legal migrations and integration of foreigners who legally stay in BIH; and strengthening of coordination mechanism in management of migrations and asylum.
The Ministry of Security, after incorporating certain corrections made at the session, will provide to the Council of Ministers of BIH, within 30 day deadline, 2021-2025 Proposal Action Plan for of the Migrations and Asylum Strategy implementation.
Today’s session adopted a piece of information by the Ministry of Communications and Transport on “leasing Microsoft licences for needs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Institutions” public procurement procedure.
The missing funds for realisation of a Framework Agreement on leasing Microsoft licences for needs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Institutions will be secured from the current reserves of Bosnia and Herzegovina Institutions and International Obligations Budget.
The Council of Ministers of BIH will reflect in the second round of vote on a Proposal Regulation on amendment and supplements to Regulation on the Ministry of Security internal organisation, and on publishing an ad for filling vacancies for administrative-technical support to a contact-point for cooperation with EUROPOL, after consensus was not reached today concerning new jobs with the Ministry of Security of BIH, the reason for which the item was not adopted.
