Council of Ministers of BIH Holds Its 51st Extraordinary Session

The Council of Ministers at its extraordinary session took a decision on acceptance of humanitarian assistance from the United Arab Emirates in food staff. 

The assistance will be taken by the BIH Red Cross Association, of which the Council of Ministers of BIH will take a separate decision.

The assistance consists of 2.280 packages of food staff, for vulnerable categories of citizens in BIH during the month of Ramadan.

It is about two kinds of packages, namely 1.160 packages containing flour, sugar, macaroni, beans, and 1.200 packages with rise, vegetable oil, tuna, powder milk, salt, beans, soya, and tea.

The assistance will be distributed as per earlier agreed-to principles, specifically, 61.5% for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 37.5 & for Republika Srpska, and 1% for the District Brčko of BIH.

The finances required for implementation of the Decision will be secured from current budget reserves for year 2021 in amount of KM 4.000.

The Ministry of Security will provide the BIH Red Cross Association-drafted report on implementation of the assistance to the Council of Ministers of BIH. (end)
