Council of Ministers of BIH Holds Its 47th Extraordinary Phone Session

Serbia’s Grant of 15,000 Vaccines against Covid-19 Accepted 

The Council of Ministers accepted, at its extraordinary, phone, session a grant by which the Republic of Serbia secured to Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the needs of the Federation of BIH, additional 15,000 vaccines (COVISHIELF – ChAdOxl nCoV-19 Corona virus Vaccine), produced by the Serum Institute of India Private Ltd.

Under a proposal Annex to a Grant Agreement on Vaccines between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ht republic of Serbia commits to deliver 5,000 doses donation for the needs of the Federation of BH in five days time from signing of the Annex, while the provision of the remaining 100,000 doses will be realised in time set for the revaccination.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs of BIH, as the competent institution, was set to accept the grant, on behalf of the Council of Ministers of BIH.

The Council of Ministers of BIH tasked the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BIH to provide the Annex Grant Agreement on Covidshield Vaccines between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Council of Ministers of BIH to the BIH Presidency for further procedure, with a proposal for the Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina to be the BIH signatory of the Annex Agreement.
