Council of Ministers of BIH Holds Its 28th Extraordinary Phone Session

The Council of Ministers of BIH granted its consent to a Contract on Vaccines Procurement with Global Vaccine Alliance (GAVI), after it adopted a piece of information to accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to an Instrument for Global Access to Vaccine for Covid-19 (Covax).
The Minister of Civil Affairs of BIH was authorised to sign the Contract on Vaccine Procurement with Global Vaccine Alliance, together with Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs, in the capacity of witness.
The payment obligations concerning expenses of the vaccines procured, stemming from a signed-to Agreement on Mutual Rights and Obligations concerning vaccines procured through the Instrument for Global Vaccine Access for Covid-19 (Covax), is to be borne by the Entity and Brčko District of BIH responsible institutions, in the extent of stated respective needs.
The Council of Ministers took a decision to approve KM 50,000.00 from the current Budget reserves to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BIH for the costs of vaccines storing, clearing and transport. The reservation of the funds was previously authorised.
The session approved the launch of a procedure for getting an external guarantee with relevant financial institutions or in other way insuring a coverage of obligations under the Agreement with the Global Vaccines Alliance on Accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Instrument for Global Vaccine Access for Covid-19 (Covax) with a payment obligation on the first call for an amount to KM 18,238,977,74, for which the Ministry of Finance and Treasury is responsible.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs will continue monitoring the execution of obligations under the Agreement with the Global Vaccine Alliance on Accession of BIH to the Instrument for Global Access to Vaccine for Covid-19 (Covax), of which it will report semi-annually to the Council of Ministers of BIH.
UNDERAGED PERSONS AND SPOUSES OF BIH CITIZENS TO ENTER BIH WITHOUT OBLIGATORY TESTS
The Council of Ministers took a decision on amendments and supplements to a Decision on additional requirements for foreigners’ entry to Bosnia d Herzegovina.
The decision entering BIH without negative SARS-Cov-2 test to personnel of international organisations, other than diplomatic-consular staff, as well as to diplomatic personnel assuming its duty, whose accreditation and identification cards issuance procedures have not been completed yet by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BIH.
Also, a negative SARS-COv-2 test enables entry to BIH to underage foreigners, whose parents are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as foreign spouses of BIH citizens.
The earlier decision enabled entry to BIH without tests to citizens of Montenegro, Republic of Croatia and Republic of Serbia, when entering Bosnia and Herzegovina form the state they are citizens of, as well as to their underage children and spouses, citizens of other states.
