Council of Ministers Holds Its 9th Extraordinary Session: Two BIH Protection and Rescue Teams’ Mandate Extended in Slovenia

The Council of Ministers of BIH took a decision this evening at its extraordinary, phone, session on amendments and supplements to decision approving the current budget reserve funds to cover expenses of BIH protection and rescue teams sent within international assistance to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia to assist in flood rehabilitation efforts. 

The Amendment Decision approves mission extension to two protection and rescue teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, engaged at rehabilitation efforts from recent floods in the Republic of Slovenia, namely, from the Federal Civil Protection Administration and that by August 25, 2023, and the Republic Civil Protection team of Republika Srpska, by August 31, 2023, both equipped by heavy machinery.

The total amount approved from the current budget reserves is increased for KM 150k to finance the teams’ costs, which now reach total KM 500,000.

The Council of Ministers of BIH took a decision, at tis 7^th extraordinary, phone, session, of August 10. 2023, to approve sending two protection and rescue teams, from the Federal Civil Protection Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic Civil Protection Administration Protection of Republika Srpska, appropriately staffed and equipped, and approved KM 350k.(end)
