10/08/2024
The Agreement regulates, among other things, recognition of secondary school qualifications for the purpose of access to high education and admission to studies with accredited public high education institutions of the Western Balkan countries, which enables studying in each of countries-signatories of the Agreement in the Western Balkans.
Accepting the Agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina fulfils one among the Common Regional Market 2021-2024 Action Plan measures, after the Western Balkan leaders signed a Common Regional Market Declaration at EU-Western Balkans Sofia Summit in November 2022.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide the Agreement to the BIH Presidency for further procedure, with a proposal for Council of Ministers Chairwoman Borjana Krišto to be signatory thereof. (end)
