Council of Ministers Holds Its 39th Extraordinary Phone Session

MOST MONEY FROM MINISTRY FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND REFUGEES GRNTED FOR ROMA HOUSING 

The Council of Ministers of BIH, at its extraordinary phone session, took a decision to allocate grant funds of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BIH for 2020 in amount of KM 1,459,116.56.

The major portion of funds will go to BIH local communities for Roma housing projects, in total amount of KM 983,351.56.

The funds for Roma employment and health care in amount of KM 902,000,000 were granted based on concluded MoUs with responsible Employment and Health care Institutes, pursuant to a Decision on criteria for allocation of gnat funds of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees in 2020.

For support to 10 projects of local self-governance units within the implementation of a Policy of Cooperation with Emigration, allocated was total amount of KM 99,475.

A grant worth KM 38,290 supported projects of five organisations of disabled persons, and KM 130,000 was allocated to associations of national minorities.

Funds in total amount of KM 40,000 were intended to support five projects by associations of families of missing persons in BIH, while KM 50,000 will be used for support to seven projects of human rights organisations, for the purpose of human rights promotion in BIH.

For activities in respect to emigration, two projects were supported by KM 10,000, while KM 60,000 supported total four projects of NGOs included in protection of human trafficking victims.

Unused funds of this grant were KM 44,883.44.

 

GRANT FOR CO-FINANCING OF SPORTS EVENTS

 

The Council of Ministers took a decision, in the second round of vote, on distribution of funds from a current grant “Co-financing of sports vents” for 2020.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs grant worth KM 1,342,000 was intended for co-financing sports events, of which KM 600,000 will go to Olympic and Para-Olympic Committee, Special Olympics in BIH, sports federations and sports federations of disabled persons, registered at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Entities.

Also, KM 400,000 was intended for sports clubs, organising international sports events or taking part at the same, while KM 342,000 was intended for infrastructure works at sports facilities to contribute directly to sports activities.
