Council of Ministers Approved Assistance to Slovenia

The Council of Ministers of BIH held the 7th extraordinary. phone, session and took a decision to extend international assistance for protection and rescue to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for rehabilitation from floods that took six lives thus far and caused enormous material damage. 

Under the decision, two protection and rescue teams are to be sent - a team from Civil Protection Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and team from the Republic Administration of Civil Protection of Republika Srpska, both appropriately equipped and staffed.

The Council of Ministers of BIH took a decision to approve Bosnia and Herzegovina Budget current reserves funds for the purpose of funding the teams, in amount of KM 350,000, namely KM 200,000 to the Federal Civil Protection Administration and KM 150,000 to the Republic of Srpska Civil Protection Administration. (end)
